Overview
Nano is a cryptocurrency known for lightning-fast, feeless transactions. They had me build an Android wallet for their ecosystem through Tinybits — a secure, approachable way for people to hold and send Nano.
What I built
- A native Android wallet that communicated directly with one of the decentralized nodes on Nano’s network over a WebSocket connection for real-time balances and transactions.
- Secure local key management and a clean send/receive flow built around Nano’s near-instant settlement.
The result
The wallet gave the Nano community a fast, native Android option for everyday transactions — and was a great deep-dive into building trustworthy software on top of a live, decentralized network.
