Overview
BUMP is a Y Combinator-backed marketplace for streetwear. They hired me through my studio, Tinybits, to build their Android app and reach the half of their potential market they couldn’t serve on iOS alone.
What I built
- A native Kotlin Android marketplace app — browsing, listings, and buying/selling streetwear — delivered in about three months.
- Localization to open the marketplace to several additional countries.
- A fast, native shopping experience tuned to the brand’s energetic, sneaker-culture aesthetic.
The result
In a single quarter, BUMP went from iOS-only to a genuinely cross-platform marketplace, significantly expanding both their addressable market and their international reach.
